How to become anorexic
Non-pathological causes of obesity
or causes of simple obesity
To know how to become anorexic we should learn
more about the Non-pathological causes of obesity i.e. causes of simple
obesity
"Causes of Simple Obesity in adult people"
Really when we are speaking about how to become anorexic or
how to lose weight, this means that we are speaking about the simple
obesity. The pathological obesity is nearly out of our work in this website.
We have only mentioned some information about the etiology and the features
of the pathological obesity just to help differentiation between the simple
and the pathological types. Some persons may be asking how to become
anorexic or how to lose weight but they are not sure whether they have a
simple or a pathological obesity.
A. Dietary causes of
Simple obesity : At its simplest, obesity is caused by an excess of energy intake
over energy expended. B. Genetic Susceptibility (Fat Storer). Some
experts estimate that as much as 70% of the predisposition to obesity is
genetic. But this does not mean that the implicated genes must cause weight
gain and obesity. Our genes are switched on and off by many other
environmental factors. An ob gene is found on chromosome 7. This gene is
expressed only in the adipose tissue. Its function is to produce a protein
called "Leptin". This leptin acts on the hypothalamus making us becoming
anorexic. In the obese person, this gene may be mutated, "ob ob", leading to
the production of a nonfunctioning protein which is not able to act on the
hypothalamus properly. N.B. There are researches that show that human
obesity leptin is not playing the major part in the pathogenesis of simple
obesity. C. Environmental
causes of Simple obesity. The general model of life like activity model of
the environment, sports, the formal physical activity in schools and in the
university, TV watching, Cars, Computers, exercises in general, etc. D. Neurological causes of obesity. E.
Physiological causes of obesity. F. Biochemical causes of obesity.
G. Cultural and Socioeconomic factors.
H. Childhood causes of obesity :
Really the childhood factors may summarize many of the above non-discussed
factors even for the adults. For example : 1- A child who is born at above average weight runs
an increased risk of childhood obesity. 2- Breastfed children are less
likely to develop obesity in adult life. 3- Chronic excessive intake of food calories,
especially if starting during the early life, leads to activation of the
adipose tissue cells to convert them into the hyper-cellular state
increasing their capacity of fat storage. This may present the main cause on
which many of the above mentioned causes are based on even the genetic
factors! Yes, there are some researches which show that the hyper-cellular
adipose tissue, resulting from the chronic excessive intake of calories, may
be inherited, more or less, in the next offspring. This is still a part of
Darwin theory of evolution.!
