Benefits of (only) 5-10% body
weight loss: 1- > 50% decrease in the risk of developing type 2
diabetes. 2- 30-50% fall in the fasting blood sugar. 3- Subjective
improvements of decreased breathlessness. 4- Improvement of the
weight-bearing joint pains. 5- More energy. 6- More positive outlook.
7- Improvement of the hypertension: Many patients stop the antihypertensive
